These sesame noodles are soo easy and quick! They are one of my favorite things to make because they are simple and satisfying. They are even good leftover the next day, straight from the refrigerator. Here's how to make them:
What you'll need:
1/2 lb. pasta, your favorite kind
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp chunky peanut butter (optional)
1 1/2 tbsp sambal oelek
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup scallions, sliced
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
In the meantime, in a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, honey, peanut butter, sambal, garlic and most of the scallions. Whisk together.
Cook the pasta al dente and drain.
Add the pasta to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients and toss well. Let it sit for a few minutes to really soak up all the flavor. Toss occasionally.
Serve in bowls with the rest of the scallions sprinkled on top. These can also be served chilled. Enjoy!
